How to Reserve Spot Time?
To reserve spot time online, you'll need an active RCTC customer account or you may call up to seven days in advance with major credit cards. |

Do
I need to be a member to play Tennis?
No, however you will be asked to set up a customer account in order to reserve a court or book a lesson for your deal. Rock Creek Tennis Center (RCTC) is a public facility located on National Park Service land so access is available to all visitors. |

What
are the cancellation Policies?
Rock Creek Tennis Center requests 24-hour notice for all cancellations including court-time & lessons. Refunds are not available for cancellations of courts. For cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance, a new, alternative booking can be made at no additional charge, subject to availability.

How do I know if my class is cancelled?
Rock Creek Tennis Center makes every attempt to hold classes as scheduled. In adverse weather conditions the player should contact the tennis center at (202) 722-5949 to check if play is possible. The tennis center will make the final decision. If the tennis court is deemed unplayable and make-ups will be offered only if a class is cancelled due to inclement weather. |

What are the hours of operations?
May thru September - Mon-Thu: 7am-11pm; Fri: 7am-10pm; Sat & Sun: 7am-8pm
October thru April - Mon- Thu: 7am-11pm and Fri-Sun: 7am-10pm

Can
I bring my own coach to the facility?
NO, it is against RCTC and National Park Services policies to bring your own coach to the facility. If a member of our staff observes this conduct, you will be asked to leave the premises and your time will not be refunded. |

What Level should I register for?
If you are currently enrolled in RCTC adult group clinics or lesson program please speak to your instructor for his recommended level. If you are a new RCTC participant we suggest you review the "skill levels"Determining a skill level in tennis has many components; i.e., stroke mechanics, strategy, footwork, mobility, basic fundamentals. Therefore, it is not a natural progression. You may be in an advanced beginner class for several sessions before you are ready to move to the next level. |

Are your tennis instructors certified?
Yes, all of our tennis instructors are either USPTA or PTR certified. |

I am a complete, uncoordinated beginner. Can I learn tennis?
Yes. Anyone can learn tennis, but you will have to make the effort to practice in addition to lessons |

Is a ball machine available for rent?
Yes, the ball machine is available for rent year around. |

Will I be charged if I play for longer than an hour?
Yes. If you decide to play after your scheduled time, you will be charged the rate for a minimum one half hour. |

Will I be charged for starting early?
Yes. If you decide to walk on and play tennis before your scheduled time, you will be charged the rate for a minimum of one half hour. |

Are racquets available for rent?
Yes. RCTC offers Wilson and Head tennis racquets for demos and sales. |

Does RCTC sell gift cards?
Yes! We offer any amount gift card over the phone with a major credit card or you can visit our front desk in person. Gift cards are redeemable for lessons and court time only and may not be used towards merchandise. Gift cards expire within one year of purchase date and are non-transferable. |
